Long Hair, Short Hair... & Niggas

Sooooo.... My hair is still short. Duh

I happened to go on tinychat yesterday i think... i dunno the days are all mixed up.
But yeah, was that bored.. I think twice before going on cam just cause am so comfortable in my self i tend to look sleepy or half dead and yh etc. So i go on cam in one of the rooms & the first thing that is said.. is "oh my gawdd she look like a nigga.. even erykah badu got more hair than her and she cut it all off"
(she has a number one cut) (clearly she does not have more hair than me) 

& also "Sh*t nigga you ugly as hell" So i was like Golly Gee THANKS!

Lmao no i didn't... but anyway my whole thought on this was... okai WTH does my hair being short have to do with me being ugly... since when does having big/long hair give u a free ticket on being pretty... like seriously though... people complain about women weaves and wigs alot nowadays and yet when a person chooses natural you always got something else to say... I was responsible for my big hair.. No one else was paying for maintenance.. so I cut my hair for ME. I hate conforming to what people think is "how it should be" or "the magority" so i might have subconciously cut it cause i'm sick of long hair being the only thing viewed as pretty/cute/sexy/beautiful etc.

The being called a dude part i don't really care about cause, cause my DD breasts kinda reassure me otherwise.

HOWEVER the being called a nigga part... i take great offence to.

1. JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE BLACK DOESN'T MAKE IT ANY MORE ACCEPTABLE TO SAY IT THAN WHEN SOMEONE OF ANOTHER COLOUR SAYS IT. 

2. IT'S A DEROGATORY TERM.. USED BECAUSE BLACK PEOPLE WERE THOUGHT OF WORTH LESS & WORTHLESS. SOO WHEN USE IT NOW IT'S LIKE YOU ACCEPT IT.

3. I AM A SMART, INTELLIGENT BLACK PERSON WITH AN AMBITION FOR DOING SOMETHING WITH MY LIFE. 

So with that said.. don't ever call me a nigga, i hate the word.. Racism is still around because of the communities that keep it alive... black people are glad to keep the stereotypes alive so racism is still alive towards them. I'm not an ugly nigga, i'm not a pretty nigga, because I AM NOT A NIGGA/NIGGER/NIG Whatever.. like tag. I'm not it. I was not bought up to be one.
